New Fee Structure For International Registrations With Designation for Japan
The World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) has established new fees when Japan is designated in an international trademark application, in a designation subsequent to international registration or in respect of the renewal of an international registration.
The new fee structure will be applicable as of October 1, 2007 and will be the following:
Application or subsequent designation:
First Part:
– for one class of goods or services CHF 201.—
– for each additional class CHF 153.—
Second Part:
– for one class of goods or services CHF 671.—
– for each additional class CHF 671.—
The fee for renewals will be CHF 1536.— for each class of goods or services and CHF 1536.— for each additional class.
